I went in for a scheduled oil change. I have owned my car only a little over a month.

When I went in my oil light was on but not my check engine. Before I left my check engine light and oil light was on. A nice gentlemen turned off the issue. Two days later it is back on.

I call them and they say it was on before it went in the shop. ***, when I parked in that parking lot it was not on. But they cannot do anything about it?

Because their word was right and mine wrong. Never dealing with them again.

I am from the corporate office of Tires Plus.

Can you send me an email at social@bfrc.com? I'd like to get some additional information about what happened as well as the address of the store.

I'd like to help.

I agree with Darrel.

It's rare for an oil change to cause a check engine light to come on.

You have to actually tell me what the code is for me to know if it was even possible that the oil change caused the code.

how would an oil change make your check engine light come on??? think about it.

just maybe your car actually broke while it was in the shop at no fault of the tech. this *** does happen, and ya, you are probably wrong.
