I have always had great experiences with Tires Plus in Longwood Fla. I have been a loyal customer for over 10 years with 4 or more vehicles and spent in excess of $10,000 easily.

Even when there where issues they went the extra mile and actually sent the vehicle to a daler because they did not have the knowhow for a particular issue.

However, now comes my 2002 focus with an ac compressor repair in July 2016. The evaporator was changed a few years earlier that the temp was "adequate". When we got the car after repair the AC was not as could as it should have been with a new compressor. I went back inside and told them this.

They said it checked out pressure wise and the AC temp was 40 deg. I did not have the luxury of arguing because my daughter was going back to work and college and needed the car...but it was not 40 degrees.... Now the car is in their shop with a leaky hose that needs to be replaced. I maintain this hose had a small leak and it was not dye/UV light tested like the compressor.

When a system is checked I should be checked everywhere so that all components are verified..not just a pressure test. The Manager..who is a very competent/professional fellow named Phil has offered to not charge for the Freon so the bill is approx. $200 parts and labor... Please contact me!

if it was 40 degrees , you should have noticed that right away. in fact put a thermometer in it .

If that is too much trouble , then I believe your just looking for your money back , and no one will ever fix that car. Even if that cars is fixed I think you will not be happy! You just seem like one of those customers that pays and pays and then one day you want it all back and no one will convince you otherwise .

and Good men lose their Jobs over customers like you. I so embrace the comfort and integrity of private ownership.
