April 2016 I took my truck to the Tires Plus is Perry Georgia to have the U-Joints replaced. I left the truck with them so they would have enough time to find the parts and get the repair done.

(This was an all original Dakota 4x4 top running condition, NEVER had an accident! No bondo, no dents! I received a call that there was an accident involving my truck. I get to the shop and was told my truck had fallen off the lift.

I asked how it happened and the manager told me they left a large metal step stool under the truck/lift and let the lift down on the ladder and it flipped my truck off. This was a 4 post lift! I looked at my truck and the damage was extensive! Right side damage (passenger side) was as follows, front air ***, front fender, A pillar, side mirror, door, rear fender the damage to the rear was the rear bumper and tail light housing.

The damage to the left side (driver side) was the door and rear fender. The manager told me "We are sorry but dont worry we will take care of it, what body shop do you want it taken to?" I told him who I use and they had my truck towed there. A few days later I get another call, this time it I was told "We got the estimate back and we think its kinda high, it was $4,800" I was then told they didnt want to pay that much to have it fixed and that he knew a guy who could fix it for around $2,000. I took the guys name and number and gave him a call.

He was a nice sounding guy but told me he was not a licensed shop, he did not have insurance and that he did not own a business, he just worked on cars behind his house. I called Tires plus back and told them I was not comfortable with this type of repair method. I was told well if you want your truck fixed he can start today, if not and we turn it in on our insurance they will probably just total out your truck and cut a $2,000 check. I still declined and called their Corporate office (Bridgestone) this is on week 2 without my truck and no resolution.

The corporate office offers me $2,000 to repair $4,800 worth of damage they caused. I asked how the rest of the repairs would get done and they told me that was up to me if I wanted to pay for it! I declined the offer. Then they tell me they are sending out an insurance adjuster to look at my truck this is the point they offer me a rental car.

He comes out and looks at it and tells me will likely be totaled due to cost of repairs.... I get a call from Bridgestone corporate office with a new "Final" offer, $2,000 to total out my truck, I could buy it back and get a salvaged title! I told them that was unacceptable and that I would be seeking legal council. They immediately had a New Final offer of $3,000 to cover the damage to the right side.

I asked about the damage to the left side and bumper, they denied responsibility for the damage. This is week 3 no truck, no resolution. This is what you can expect from Tires Plus and Bridgestone! They will destroy your vehicle and then run you around for weeks, ultimately to refuse to repair the damage they caused!

They will offer you what they want to pay not what it costs to fix it then lie and say they didnt cause damage! This is Bridgestone! Bridgestone does this!! I now have a lawyer and filed the paperwork to sue.

Thats right, now have to spend MORE time away from work, MORE money, MORE headache, MORE anxiety, MORE stress, MORE hardship just to sue them in an attempt to get my property they destroyed repaired! I will be posting this in EVERY media outlet available to me, I will tell anyone who will listen and I will park my truck across the street from the shop with a sign explaining they did this and refuse to fix it!

You would never expect this from a major corporation, it is just wrong! No honor, no integrity with Bridgestone!
